Meet Dr. Jenna
Dr. Jenna Rayachoti
Naturopathic doctor. Mother. Lover of Mother Earth.
I have spent a decade helping women find answers in their blood work and hormones until I realized the deepest answers were never on the lab panel.
Now at Wild Women Wellness, we stop searching for what's broken and start remembering what we already hold and know in our bodies.
This is the full story.
Where it began
The mountains have always been my guide. They represent all of the things I have needed or wanted at each stage of my life.
I grew up at the base of the Tetons in Jackson, WY. Starting at an early age, my dad shared with me his love for the natural world, and I developed an intimate relationship with the mountains and the living world around me. That connection led me to study the medicinal properties of plants and pursue a degree in Biology.
After college, I joined the Peace Corps and served as a health volunteer for two years in rural northwest Senegal. I worked closely with my host mother, the village midwife, attending births where there was no running water and no electricity.
It was humbling and unforgettable – I learned so much from the courageous women I worked with, and I’m forever grateful for what they taught me about the resilience and power of women's bodies.
I became a doula after witnessing so many women give birth in Senegal. But when I returned to the states quite sick, and saw doctor after doctor with no resolution. Until a naturopathic physician turned my life around. She didn't just help me get better; she reignited my desire to pursue medicine return to the love for the natural world that had been with me since childhood.
A decade of women's health
For the past ten years, I have practiced naturopathic medicine, specializing in women's hormones, fertility, perimenopause, and menopause. I ran the labs, wrote supplement protocols, and worked with women who were getting off birth control, navigating PCOS, struggling with postpartum depletion, or just trying to understand why they felt the way they felt.
I love that work, and I know I made a real impact on a lot of women's lives.
But over that time, I watched something happen again and again. Women who were desperate to find something in their lab results that would explain why they felt so bad. Women who were disappointed when their panels came back looking great, because despite what was on that piece of paper, they were still exhausted, still unwell, and still feeling like something was missing that no one could name.
What they needed had nothing to do with their biochemistry. They were overriding their bodies so consistently that their bodies had no choice but to start pushing back.
My thresholds
At the same time, I was living the same pattern.
After my daughter was born, I was so determined that motherhood wouldn't get in the way of my career. I jumped back in at a pace that made sense at the time, but I overrode my body and justified my exhaustion too much. I told myself I could have it all, do it all. That's the lie we're sold as women in this country.
I was giving and giving and giving until I was so exhausted I couldn't show up for my kids, my husband, or myself. Then one Sunday night, I sat down with the numbers and realized: this is not working. Not financially, not for my nervous system, not for my family.
And I knew: if I'm going to help women honor their thresholds, I have to honor my own.
Way of the Wild Woman
I closed my medical practice with the intention of going deeper than medicine could take me, not leaving it behind.
I'm at many thresholds right now. The closing of the practice, entering perimenopause, reclaiming my voice, my cycle. Fully stepping into motherhood in a new way.
Way of the Wild Woman is what emerged from all of it. A space where women at their own thresholds can land, exhale, and be held. Where we stop searching for what's “wrong” with us, and start remembering what we already hold and know in our bodies. Where we work with our cycles instead of against them, honor the seasons of our lives, and return to ourselves.
