The changes might be happening faster than you expected.
Suddenly, sleep is different, moods are erratic, your joints are aching, your body feels unfamiliar. And no one prepared you for any of it. The habits that used to work no longer seem to fit.
So you’ve been piecing it together yourself: late-night searches, conflicting advice, appointments with specialists that don’t provide much relief.
Most of us were never taught what happens in these years. Most of our doctors aren’t thoroughly trained in menopause.
So let’s say the important part plainly: this is not a personal failure.
Nothing has gone wrong with you. Your body isn’t breaking down, it’s crossing a threshold. And this threshold requires a different approach.
The years leading up to your last period are a real transition — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our culture either ignores it, over-medicalizes it, or encourages us to “fix” it — offering endless strategies to keep things the way they used to be.
But this phase isn’t asking you to hold on to who you used to be.
In this course, we approach perimenopause with the reverence and space it deserves. We honor the physiology and the depth. There is grief here for your old pace, your old capacity, the way your body used to feel.
Yet there is something powerful emerging, too: clarity, discernment, and sacred yes’s and no’s. You don’t need to be talked out what you are feeling. You need to be supported as you move through it.
Perimenopause is a threshold.
Hi, I’m Jenna.
I have spent over a decade as a naturopathic doctor specializing in women’s health and hormones, walking with women through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and perimenopause and menopause. And I’m in this transition, too.
This circle is what I most want women to have in these years: a clear understanding of what’s happening in your body, without overwhelm. Practices that fit your life and body. And a space to be held while your body goes through real change. Because you were never meant to navigate this phase alone.
This program was created with over 10 years of clinical experience, my own threshold work, and a deep reverence for the female body.
Want a taste of what this circle is like?
Join me either online or in person on September 15th and 17th for a free community discussion: Making Sense of Perimenopause.
We’ll talk honestly about the changes in our bodies, our capacity, and this season of life. Also a chance to ask questions.
This is a space to experience the kind of conversation, listening, and connection we’ll cultivate together inside The Midlife Rhythm.
What The Midlife Rhythm Is
Six live, 90-minute sessions, every other week in a small circle.
Offered in person in Winthrop, WA (in a private yurt, Twisp Winthrop Eastside Rd) and online.
This is the third time I’ve run this program. It deepens every time and I see the impact it has for women each year.
☾ This time, it’s less lecture and more conversation. Each session weaves together grounded teaching on what’s happening in your body with space for discussion, reflection, and simple rituals and daily practices, so the support actually makes its way into your life.
☾ You’re be alongside other women in the same phase of life. You’ll leave each gathering with something simple to integrate, and a place to return to with what you’re noticing.
☾ You’ll also receive a Perimenopause Guidebook to keep, and we’ll be joined by guests who have crossed into menopause. These women add a unique perspective, the kind of reassurance many of us are craving right now.

Session 3 ·
Clearing the Fog
Sleep, memory, and focus: what’s a natural part of the shift and what might need more support.

Why in Circles
Circles are an ancient and non-hierarchal way to gather. Something settles when women sit together and tell their truth about their bodies. The shame quiets, and the isolation eases. What felt like your private failing turns out to be a shared crossing.
That’s why this isn’t a course you watch alone. It’s a circle of women in the same transition, and elders who have walked this path.

Who this is for
The Midlife Rhythm is for you if you’re somewhere in the threshold of perimenopause, menopause, or beyond, and want a deeper understanding of what’s happening in your body and in your life.
You might be:
Curious about perimenopause, but not sure if you’re in it yet. Maybe things feel different, but you don’t have a clear answer for what’s happening.
No longer having a period because of an IUD, or a partial or full hysterectomy. You can still experience the hormonal and whole-body shifts of this transition, even if your period isn't there to give you clues.
Using HRT/MHT. This course isn't about being for or against hormones. We’ll talk about how they fit into the larger picture, so you can make informed choices and stay connected to your own authority.
Already postmenopausal. You don't have to be in the midst of perimenopause to benefit. The threshold continues to unfold beyond the final period, and there is still so much to understand, integrate, and explore.
You don't need to know exactly where you are in the transition to join us. Curiosity is enough.
Join us.
This isn’t about getting the old you back. It’s about meeting the woman who’s emerging informed, supported, and in very good company. I can’t wait to meet you.
Why I care about women having access to this:
Because I’ve seen what happens when we move through these years without a deep understanding, language, or a place to be witnessed.
I’ve sat with women who thought they were failing. Women who didn’t recognize their bodies anymore. Women who had been told their symptoms were normal, or that they just needed to push through, or who had been given a prescription without anyone taking the time to understand the whole picture.
And I’ve also seen what happens when a woman begins to understand what is happening in her body, and realizes that nothing has gone wrong with her.
There is so much more to this transition than managing symptoms. These years can be an invitation to slow down, listen differently, release what is no longer sustainable, and discover a deeper sense of agency, clarity, and truth.
I want women to have access to that understanding before they spend years believing their bodies are the problem.
I want us to have the language our mothers and grandmothers often didn't have. The guidance, the rituals, the science, the conversation, and the support from each other.
Because I don't believe perimenopause is a phase we are meant to simply survive.
I believe it is a threshold worth understanding, honoring, and walking through together.
